Needless to say, the electronic records system that Barbra should recommend for the company should be one with the ability to achieve the optimum objective for the implementation of the EHR. The recommended system should reduce the workload that comes with storing medical records, and also optimize the access and use of data and information (Sinha, 2013). From the two available options, Barbra’s best option would be the eClinicalWorks. Looking at the financial implications of implementing the identified system, the organization should be prepared to spend from the start-up cost to the maintenance cost. Apparently, the identified system is the best option for the organization because it will provide them with data security, ease of data access and use, and efficiency when searching through the medical records.
